Help and version

Perler Pattern Studio converts images into editable fuse-bead patterns entirely in your browser. No accounts, no uploads, no server.

Three steps

  1. Upload an image; crop a single subject first if it is busy.
  2. Pick bead size and palette, check ratio, colors, and counts.
  3. Export the color-code sheet; large patterns print in numbered board pages.

Bead sizes

Large 5 mm (Perler, Hama Midi, Artkal S), Small 2.6 mm (Artkal M), Mini 2.5 mm (Hama Mini). The size sets hole pitch, pegboard block size, and available palettes; print sheets use these pitches for 1:1 output.

Assembly order

Print sheets split the pattern into pegboard blocks and number every bead 1..N inside each block in serpentine order. The Making Assistant offers an alternative color-by-color mode with per-color progress.

Privacy and recovery

Source images are never uploaded. Unfinished patterns save to this browser's local storage without the reference image; saved projects live in browser IndexedDB. Clear either at any time. Your web host may keep its own access logs.

Colors and brands

Palette data comes from the MIT-licensed jsspace/bead-colors project. This is an independent tool with no affiliation with Perler, Hama, or Artkal. Screen HEX values are approximations; verify against physical color charts before buying beads.
